The Bridal Shower

Bridal showers can be fun and celebratory. The event is usually organized by some of your closest friends and family. These events are optional and should not cause you additional stress. The events are small and intimate, and the guest are usually your closest family and friends both male and female.

As the bride, you get to decide who attends and the number of guests. Always consider the cost, the venue size and any special concerns of the host. Guest that are not invited to the wedding should not be invited to the shower. Keep the guest list small and plus-ones are not required. You should have the host send out invitations 6-8 weeks prior to the event and ask for the guest to RSVP. It is always nice to have a registry to help guest with gift selection.
